Each year, IfL offers a number of fellowships to both junior researchers who have obtained a Ph.D. or its equivalent and senior researchers. Eligible candidates for fellowship stipends work on individual research projects related to IfL’s research projects and research areas. We particularly welcome applications that indicate ideas for future collaborative research or joint publications.
During their fellowship tenure, fellows will spend a minimum of one month and a maximum of three months in residence at IfL. The institute provides fellowship stipends from 1.440 € per month, depending on the visitor’s qualifications. In some cases, travel grants up to 500 € are available.
Applications to the visiting fellowship programme are welcome any time. Candidates are required to submit the following materials in one pdf document (max. 4 mb) to email@example.com:
By submitting the application, you consent to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of the application procedure.
Applications are evaluated by a committee on a quarterly basis with deadlines by 31 March, 30 June, 30 September and 31 December. Please take into account that our internal assessment procedure usually takes 4-6 weeks after the end of the application period. During this time period, we ask you to refrain from any questions. We will send you the results by e-mail.
