At the IfL, gender equality and the compatibility of family and career are regarded and promoted as an essential component and guiding principle of successful work. The IfL is a member of the Dual Career Network Central Germany, which is committed to the professional integration of both life partners in the region Leipzig / Halle (Saale). For this purpose, the cooperation partners examine applications from other network participants and, in case of corresponding vacancies of the life partner of a network member who is eligible due to his or her qualification, give the opportunity for a personal interview.
