IfL researcher Elisabeth Kirndörfer invited young refugees and asylum seekers to exchange their experiences of arriving in Leipzig.
In three workshops, the new arrivals put their impressions and associations down on paper in the form of terms, texts and sketches and located them on a map. The resulting story map gives an impression of how young people experience, appropriate and participate in shaping public space through their refugee experience. A short report of Elisabeth Kirndörfer's "project within the project", with pictures by photographer Munaf Al-Dulaimi, can be found in our blog
